Since its launch in November, AI chatbot ChatGPT has gained a large following, with millions of people using it for various purposes from creating stories, movie script outlines, song lyrics, books, and rap battles to generating technical documentation and Python scripts.
A woman from South London has recently tried to use the chatbot and did it for an unusual purpose – to make a decision concerning her marriage.
As reported by the Mirror, the woman, named Sarah, had been having an affair for six months and decided to ask ChatGPT whether or not she should divorce her husband.
According to the woman, she has been having a rough time in her 5-year marriage because of constant arguments and other issues and she couldn’t decide whether to fix the problems or just end the relationship.
So, she turned to ChatGPT asking it to create a “fairy tale” ending to her affair and give her advice on what would be the best decision for her.
“I essentially asked the app to write me a story based on my current situation, and what the person in the story should do in a failing marriage while experiencing the excitement of the affair I’ve been having. The end of the story told me I should put my happiness first and leave my husband, which I’ve now done,” Sarah said.
According to a woman, she is now happily living with her lover, having left her marriage.
