    Metal spikes have been installed outside a block of luxurious flats in London to discourage homeless individuals from sleeping there. But the set up of the studs has provoked criticism from some after an image was uploaded to Twitter, the social networking web site.

    Users mentioned the usage of the studs meant homeless individuals have been being handled the identical means as pigeons, as related metallic spikes are used to discourage them.

    Andrew Horton, 33, of Woking, Surrey, took the image of the inch lengthy studs outside the flats on Southwark Bridge Road as he walked to work on Wednesday.
