BBC Ignores Israeli Murder of its Own Cameraman’s Baby

In a new low for the BBC’s objectively pro-Israel coverage, the British state broadcaster seems to be doing its best to downplay the murder by Israel of family members of one of its own cameramen.

The 11-month-old son of BBC Arabic’s picture editor Jihad Misharawi was killed in Israeli tank shelling last night, along with his sister-in-law, according to BBC journalists on Twitter, and one report online (which didn’t even name him).

Meanwhile across the globe, emergency protests have been taking place outside Israeli Embassies to stop Israel from repeating the 2009 genocide of the people of Gaza. Netanyahu has stated that Israel is “ready to widen Gaza operations”.

More protests are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday, 16 and 17 November, in the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South America, the Middle East, China, and other regions.

If you are within proximity of any of these meeting places, please consider attending one of these protests. The more people who can be there, the better. The list of protest actions appears below. Let us convey a firm message to Israel that its genocidal behaviour will no longer be tolerated.
