People near the New Brunswick train station and the city’s two hospitals Saturday morning may get a first-hand look at emergency services handling a mass casualty incident, but it will all be training exercise.
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Saint Peter’s University Hospital will each see 30 “victims” from a staged incident at the train station.
“It will all be very controlled,” said Robert Wood Johnson spokesman Peter Haigney.
The response exercise will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. but will not impact normal operations or visiting hours at the two hospitals, Haigney said.
