Starting Monday, Granite Staters are able to place orders for free at-home COVID-19 test kits. Through the program, one order will be sent per address. Each order contains four test kits (eight tests overall).
Gov. Chris Sununu said one million rapid tests are available.
The state is using Quidel QuickVue tests that will provide results in 15 minutes, but New Hampshire health officials said they will not necessarily be able to track the results of each test. For that reason, officials are asking anyone who tests positive to alert their health care provider, who will then report the positive result to state health officials.
The test kit link was made available after 9 a.m., and at times, some users reported seeing issues. If those issues don’t appear to be resolved, people are encouraged to refresh the page or try again.
The team behind the program said the website has processed more than 35,000 household orders, as of 1:45 p.m. Monday.
