Sibenik– Fast-food behemoth McDonald’s has come under fire after one of its stores in Croatia allegedly continued to serve food for more than an hour and a half after a woman dropped dead of a heart attack inside the restaurant. The Sun reports that the macabre incident happened in the city of Šibenik, on the Adriatic coast between Zadar and Split.
A woman had entered the restaurant with her husband Sunday evening reportedly began complaining of chest pains. According to the Daily Mail, she collapsed at the counter as her husband frantically phoned for an ambulance. Employees then allegedly covered her with a white sheet and continued serving food both inside the store and at the drive-through window.
