The backward American Flag is now becoming part of police, fire and first responder uniforms throughout the country. This is largely due to their support of the troops and their effort to appear more “military.”
Army soldiers who have returned home, along with their family members, are unintentionally spreading the backward flag to civilians.
Regardless of the reasons given, it’s backward, because without Old Glory properly displayed (on the left), there cannot be a “reverse image” (on the right), just a backward flag.
