Evan Rachel Wood has referred to as for mandatory vasectomies for males in response to harsh abortion payments being launched in the US. The actress says it’s a approach to stop undesirable pregnancies when abortion shouldn’t be an possibility.

Wood made the remark in response to Georgia banning abortion after a heartbeat is detected, which is often at six weeks. Women usually don’t know they’re pregnant till at the very least the fifth week, so the legislation makes abortion very troublesome. “They want to control our bodies,” Wood stated.

Mandatory vasectomies till you need to have kids. They will be reversed, so,” she tweeted. “Come on guys, Let’s save lives!”

“What’s that? A hard no? Why? Cause it’s your body and we don’t get to make that choice for you? Ooooooohhhhhh!!!” she added.

Wood’s suggestion was met with help amongst her followers. However, unsurprisingly, many questioned the logic behind it and expressed displeasure on the thought.

Wood later clarified her place, explaining she doesn’t actually need mandatory vasectomies as a result of she doesn’t “believe we should legislate peoples bodies.”
