A big rig caught on fire on the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge on Friday morning, delaying traffic. The Fire Department of New York confirmed the blaze. “MAN ALL HANDS ED KOCH QUEENSBORO BRIDGE, FIRE ON BRIDGE LOWER LEVEL,” it wrote on Twitter.

Rather than arresting marijuana users, police officers will be giving them Doritos at this year’s “Hempfest,” an annual celebration that takes place in Washington state, where pot is now legalized for use by adults over the age of 21. Police will distribute information about the state’s new legalization attached to a bag of chips, thereby satisfying pot smokers’ “munchies” while also explaining the law. The labels, which are attached to about 1,000 bags of Doritos, encourage pot users to check out a guide on the police department’s website, titled “Marijwhatnow? A Guide to Legal Marijuana Use in Seattle.”

Three more weapons from Fast and Furious have turned up at crime scenes in Mexico, CBS News has learned, as the toll from the controversial federal operation grows. According to Justice Department tracing documents obtained by CBS News, all three guns are WASR-10 762-caliber Romanian rifles. Two were purchased by Fast and Furious suspect Uriel Patino in May and July of 2010. Sean Steward, who was convicted on gun charges in July 2012, purchased a third. The rifles were traced yesterday to the Lone Wolf gun shop in Glendale, Ariz.

The Red Cross says they are providing assistance to those in the area of a massive fire caused by an explosion inside an industrial park off Madison Highway in Valdosta. The Valdosta Fire Chief reports three people were taken to the hospital with injuries from the blast. Their conditions were not immediately available. No fatalities have been reported. The California owner of a Rottweiler that was fatally shot by police has been charged with multiple felony counts on Tuesday, including one charge of intimidating a witness. He is currently being held on $310,000 bail and faces up to five years in prison if convicted of the six felony counts and one misdemeanor he is charged with.
Boeing Co said it raised the list prices on Thursday for most of its family of commercial jetliners by about 1.6 percent, compared with 2012 levels, far less than the 5.5 percent increase the company made last year.
