All but two of the 26 students and staffers killed in the Sandy Hook school massacre died from “multiple gunshot wounds,” according to death certificates obtained by The Post today. But the rural-state lawmaker is concerned over California’s strict laws on egg producers and other farmers as a result of Proposition 2, a ballot initiative passed by voters in 2008. AP president and CEO Gary Pruitt on Wednesday condemned the DOJ for acting as a “judge, jury and executioner” by seizing AP phone records and refusing to give the news agency notice of the subpoena. US obesity rates have reached a record high, and physicians have officially classified it as a “disease”, which will likely change the way doctors and health insurance providers treat the 28.9 percent of American adults who are severely overweight. Obesity in the US has reached a new high, continuing a 15-year streak in which the rate increased annually. The Centers for Disease Control announced that in 2012, 28.9 percent of adults were obese, which surpassed the 28.7 who carried excessive weight in 2011.
Former investigators of the TWA Flight 800 airplane crash have revealed that an explosion came from outside the plane, thereby contradicting the government’s conclusion that the fatal crash was an accident. The investigators claim they were silenced from telling the truth by their superiors, and were forced to conclude that the 1996 crash was an accident sparked by a fuel tank explosion.
