IDF pilots: Refuse orders to bomb Iran

Hundreds of people, including lawyers, have signed over the past several days a petition calling on IDF pilots to refuse orders to attack in Iran if commanded to do so.

“You have the option of saying no,” reads the petition. “It’s certainly not a simple option, involving a dilemma of professionalism and morality, and the risk of losing a career which is most important and dear to you, and possibly prosecution. Even so, you must carefully and seriously consider this option, carefully and seriously consider the possibility of saying the little word ‘no’.”

“You would do an important and vital service to the State of Israel and all who live in it – infinitely more service than you will do by a blind obedience to that particular command,” continues the petition.
