RT, Russia Today, announced that they will air the third party presidential debate moderated by Larry King. Participants will include Libertarian candidate Garry Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Justice Party Candidate Rocky Anderson. No other television network will air the debate.
“The mainstream media’s disregard for this debate is really troubling, when you consider that a third party candidate — Ross Perot — has influenced the outcome of national election before,” says Margarita Simonyan, RT’s editor in chief.
The debate will be broadcast live on the RT America channel on October 23rd, at 9:00 pm EST. RT America will also air a special pre-debate discussion panel featuring RT America’s TV host Thom Hartmann, Josh Tolley of The Josh Tolley Show and Ben Swann of WXIX Fox 19.
The broadcast will be streamed online by the digital programming service Ora TV and The Free and Equal Elections Foundation, as well as RT’s YouTube channel. Another network which will air the debate is Al Jazeera English.
