Denice Marcel said her father was found dead at his home in Helena on Saturday, less than two months after making his last trip to Roswell. He had been reading a book about UFOs. Over the past 35 years, Marcel Jr. appeared on TV shows, documentaries and radio shows; was interviewed for magazine articles and books, and traveled the world lecturing about his experiences in Roswell.

A homeless man has allegedly held up and robbed a Portland bank for $1, then sat down and waited for police to arrest him so he could receive healthcare in prison. Timothy Dean Alsip, a 50-year-old homeless man, was arrested by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Department and thrown in jail on suspicion of second-degree robbery. Facebook received about 26,000 government requests for information about 38,000 users in the first six months of 2013, with half of the orders coming from the United States government. The social networking service published the numbers on Monday, following the release of customer information data requests from Microsoft and Google.

A Pennsylvania man affiliated with the Underground Intelligence Agency hacker collective has pleaded guilty in connection to selling access to US Energy Department servers he infiltrated illegally. Cuba’s iconic leader Fidel Castro lashed out at a report by a Russian newspaper that claimed the country blocked the NSA leaker Edward Snowden’s travel to Latin America via Havana. I have been busy working on the site but I came across supposed tools which were leaked by a twitter user named ‘AgentViz’ which claims to stumbled upon the Parabon Computation’s unsecured database which was easily full of millions of dollars in custom software designed for the NSA’s surveillance program. It was first posted to 4chan, quickly 404ed and then went across multiple blogs. No MSM outlets have picked up this story and even Glenn Greenwald was tweeted the links. He still hasn’t reported on this yet..

Rocky Anderson, the former mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah and last year’s Justice Party nominee for president, says he plans to sue the United States government over the illegal collection of private emails ahead of the 2002 Olympics. Anderson served as mayor of Salt Lake City for eight years and played a leading role in hosting the 2002 Winter Olympics Games there. Only last week, though, did he learn that the US National Security Agency utilized equipment to intercept and monitor all email and text communications in the area for several months before the event.
